How do you use UWorld for Step 2?

Does UWorld have a desktop app?

UWorld products are compatible with most recent Windows and Mac laptop or desktop systems. We also offer mobile applications compatible with recent Android, iOS, and Kindle devices. At this time UWorld does not support Linux, Chromebook, or Windows Mobile devices.

When should I start UWorld Step 2?

We recommend starting questions about one month before the exam if you’re on an elective, maybe earlier if you plan to get through all of them. Some students only do UWorld questions and fit all of them into a two-week period. Not everyone completes the UWorld either before taking Step II CK.

Do you use UWorld for Step 2?

While UWORLD is the most popular among all USMLE Step 2 resources, it is not the single best resource out there (nothing is!). So, while I’d highly recommend using it, you shouldn’t be too reliant on just finishing UWORLD as your sole study resource for Step 2 CK.

Can UWorld be use on multiple devices?

You are not allowed to access the UWorld content from multiple devices/locations concurrently (at the “same time”).

Is there an app for UWorld?

UWorld’s Qbank Mobile App allows you to access your USMLE STEP 1, STEP 2 CK/Shelf and STEP 3 on your Android phone and tablet devices. Please use the “UWorld Boards” app for ABIM and ABFM Qbanks.

What is a good step 2 score?

230-245: This range is considered good. Students with scores in this range will likely have most to all doors open to all specialties, especially if paired with at least good performances on Step 2 and clinical grades. 245-255: Scores in this range are considered very good.
