This is weird.
So I had decided to take the summer off and put this web site on hiatus for a few months. I needed to do some thinking and clear my head a bit. After a month or so, I thought it would be a good idea to start keeping a temporary summer blog so I could record my new thoughts, experiences, drawings, comics, photographs and other ephemera. The blog, I reasoned, would be easy to keep and maintain and a good way to stay focused on art.
Well, as soon as I got it all set up and recorded the first entry, Rudy said she wanted to read it and I walked away from the computer. She didn't know how to find the new blog so she Googled the term "spudd64" and apparently now there is some 17 year old kid setting up all over the internet and using the exact name Spudd64. It kind of freaked me out and yes, I got a little possessive.
In the end, I decided to stay on hiatus and just keep the blog going for this summer, but I also thought it would be best if I put my art and comics BACK up on this site. Even if it just remains a static gallery for the summer, at least it keeps the art viewable.
So, if you're interested in checking out the summer blog you can find it at www.spudd64.blogspot.com. I'll be adding it to on a daily basis. Comments are very welcome, and you can even post them anonymously if you'd like.
